Explore AltPump: Placing Trades
Once you've connected to an Exchange, and have funds in your exchange to trade with, you can start placing trades on AltPump!
Before any Pump, you'll know what trading pair you'll be using. For example , or
Trading pairs are exchange specific, for example you can only trade on Binance.
Easily change your trade amount value, most exchanges have a minimum of 10$, there are no max limits, but their could be requirements to access higher trade limits.
Cool! You're ready to trade. You selected your trading asset, and updated your trade value. Next: Wait for the signal!
Once your Pump group has given the signal, you need to be ready to type it in the text field and press the [enter] key to submit the trade.
Pro Tip! Extreme mode can enter your trades as you type the first two characters of a symbol. We'll talk more about this later on.
As soon as you see a modal appear, you have entered a trade. The context in the middle represents live price data either relative from your entry point or just a real time price watch. This will help you visualise how the Pump and Dump is going and help make your decision to sell.
Once you hit the big red 'CLOSE TRADE' button, your position will be sold immediately. You'll know this because another Modal will appear with your trade results.
Some exchanges require additional API calls to fetch results, so you may see a loading image. Be assured that your trade has already completed (Right before results Modal appears).
